Event Details
Join the Merrimack Valley Ringers on May 31st for an afternoon of workshops at Wilbraham United Church. Class sessions run from 1:15 – 4:35 pm. These will be hands-on workshops taught by some of New England’s best bronze-level ringers… and will focus on learning new techniques or honing skills you already have. Come early and join us as we ring through the Festival Conference music selections. You can ring your part or, if you are brave, try your hand at site reading a different position. Registration and Festival ringing hour start at 11:45 am. The cost is $15 for the workshop.
Participants will choose three workshops out of several concurrent offerings, including: “Festival Nightmare Resolutions”, “Basic Ringing: A Review”, and “Getting Untangled: Learning to Weave”; or step it up with “To Weave or Not to Weave… Taking it to the next level” or a “Director’s Roundtable” just to name a few. There is something for every skill level whether you are a ringer or a director. Go to Register Now below to see the complete list.
After the workshop, join other participants and the Merrimack Valley Ringers for a potluck dinner from 5:30-6:30 pm organized by the Wilbraham United Church. Following the potluck, there will be a spring concert featuring the Merrimack Valley Ringers at 7 pm. You may register to attend the workshop independent of dinner and/or the concert.
Food
No Food will be provided during the workshop. However, please join us for a potluck dinner – see registration form. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
